I have always been interested in creating art since a very young age. I have mostly played around and tried abstract art in acrylic in my 20's. After a very long break from picking up a paint brush and about 30+ years later I decided to give painting a try again now in my late 50's. On September 2nd 2019 I tried my first landscape painting ever and it was in black and white acrylic and very simple taking me 45 minus to paint. I have to admit I was a little shocked that I was able to paint something that looked okay, it even brought tear to my eye. A few days after painting my first simple landscape I sold it, I was shocked again. I then thought I would try painting a landscape in acrylic color and was a little harder. I quickly found that using acrylic paints for landscapes was a little difficult so I decided to try oil for the first time. I have to admit that painting with oil is far better that acrylic and I love it. I am happy and gratefulI that I decided to pick up the brush again and wish I had thought about this years ago.
